My Painting Process
Peggy uses a process of applying multiple layers of watercolor onto the painting surface. In addition to watercolor paper, she has recently adapted Museum Series Aquabord, as her preferred painting surface. Her technique requires applying layer upon layer of watercolor paint to achieve the desired depth in the shadows, textures and details. The final step in completing the paintings on Aquabord, is to seal the painting surface with a UV coating. Once the protective coating is applied, the painting can be framed and/or displayed without glass.
