Peggy Petrali is a watercolor artist living in Northern California. Since childhood she has always been drawn to the creative process. She became interested in painting after moving to the Sierra foothills. She began taking watercolor lessons from local artists, and developed a love for watercolor. Peggy has since taken numerous workshops from nationally-known artists including Tracy Lewis, Beverly Fields, Linda Erle and Ali Cavanaugh. Peggy has been recognized in watercolor competitions locally, nationally and internationally. Each of Peggy's paintings are lovingly created by layering luminous glazes, and washes of pigment, capturing the desired depth, color, and emotion, in each piece.
